Aquatic Database
Welcome to the Aquatic Database. The purpose of this web site is to provide a one stop place for aquarists (both hobbyists and professionals) to find aquatic species information and related terms.
If you are a newcomer, please visit the welcome page for a jump-start on using this site. Anyone can add/edit information in the Aquatic Database. Please feel free to contribute to the database by clicking on the edit button. You can also start a new article. Most of the pages use templates to keep the look consistent across the site. Most templates can be found on our Sample Pages. If you would like to contribute to the database, but don't feel comfortable adding the information yourself, please send additions and changes to contribute@aquaticdatabase.com

- Due to recent spamming on the site we have change the database so only registered users can edit and create articles. Registration is fast and free. Please don't let this stop you from contributing to the database. JakePehrson 12:07, 1 June 2007 (EDT)
- We have decided to update the aquaticdatabase.com to a "wiki' format. There are 5,055 records in our old database that have not been converted over to the new format. Much of this conversion will have to take place manually in order for the records to be formated correctly. Please take a look around and feel free to add/edit information as you see fit. We hope to have the database updated completely within the next couple of months. - Jake Pehrson
